A few weeks ago we took a spontaneous trip to Dallas with some friends. It was a nice weekend getaway. Cody pricelined us an awesome hotel for dirt cheap for a night. We drove down on Friday night and got to the hotel just in time to enjoy an hour in the hot tub. Then Saturday morning we headed downtown and ended up taking the tour where JFK was shot. The picture above is Cody and I in front of the building where Oswald fired shots. The x on the pavement behind us is where the first bullet struck. That afternoon we hit up the Galleria, which is a HUGE, let me repeat HUGE mall. We spent a good couple hours walking around and checking out all the cool massage chairs in Brookstone. We had an awesome time with great friends, thanks John and Amy! Lets do it again sometime...like San Antonio over Memorial Day!

So glad our spontaneity turned into a fun weekend. You know we'll be there in May. By the way, rumor has it we might be reliving a Dallas weekend again in two weeks.
