Highlights of 2008

January: We put our tax return money into a nice digital piano! Of course I would rather have a real one but I will have to wait until I have a house and know that we are not moving around a lot. Cody always complains about how heavy it is going to be to move and we don't even have one yet!
February:...not really anything exciting to remember... it was cold, it snowed a lot, oh we celebrated Cody's 24 birthday (I bought him a t-shirt for a present). He thought it was a bad birthday present. I am a bad present giver...I learned it from my dad. He is lucky he even got anything!
March: We moved into our new apartment (which we love)! There are no death trap ice stairs to climb up each day like at our old apartment. I am surprised McKenna and I are still alive at this point we had a few incidents on them.
April: The month from HELL at work. I am just personally glad this month in my life is over.
May: I had my first introduction to Turbo Kickbox! And I am still actively going to this day. With my weighted gloves and all I having definitely earned the "veteran" status.
June: Happy 24th birthday to Rachelle.
July: Cody takes the DAT and gets a 21 which is a great score!
August: Nikki and family took trip to Utah from Pennsylvania. I meet my nephew "Rocky" for the first time!
September: Cody received his first interview to dental school at Columbia University in New York.
October: We travel to New York City for Cody's interviews and have a vacation while we are there! We also celebrated our 2 year anniversary!
November: We have a great Thanksgiving with Cody's family, and I left for my week long cruise to Mexico!
December: Cody receives dental school acceptance to The University of Oklahoma. What a way to finish off the year!

Those damn stairs!

Don't tell, but I totally threw ice melt on them.

Take that.

Oh, in February you took care of your invalid neighbor who had brain surgery. And gave her a smoothie maker.

I love that smoothie maker.

I am so shocked that I made the list! Thanks for remembering. Glad you will be moving closer to me (why couldn't it have been New York?)
