I came to a sad reality this morning as I was asked to complete a task that I couldn't. Not because I didn't want to, but because I lacked the knowledge and skills that were needed. So I am sure you can put two and two together, this means that Cody being a genius, may be slightly disappointed to find out that I am not.
I am sure you are all dying to know what I could not do. Well I was asked to go pick up my nephew Daxten and bring him back to Grandma Jan's house. Well I had picked him up and got back to the car with him, and drew a blank. I could not for the life of me figure out how to buckle in his car seat. I tried for about 10 minutes to figure it out by myself. No luck. So I called my mother in law to see if she could walk me through how to do it. Again no luck. Finally I had to have my sister in law Karli come out and do it for me because I couldn't figure it out! I felt slightly dumb especially since I have 4 nephews and a niece!
Moral of the story is I can't have children because I have no clue how to buckle in a car seat.

HA HA HA. Not only is your 'blog description' top notch, but you can't even do up a car seat? HA, ha...um, neither can I. It too is on my list of 'why I probably shouldn't ever have a kid.'
Hey I have two kids and often find myself in the same boat! One time I put Collin in the car to go to the store. I get there and go to take him out thinking...Wow my kid is the smartest kid every he got his buckles undone...but really he has the dumbest mom ever and forgot to buckle him!
Just goes to show that Mom's are smarter than the world gives them credit for!
