You Haven't Missed Anything

If you are bothering to still view my blog I will consider it a miracle. The last time I bothered to attempt to update it (which wasn't even a real attempt) was March 29. So technically the last updated blog was March 6th. So now that I am going on 2 months of nothing, I guess it is time to break the streak.

If you wondered you haven't missing anything. Our lives are as boring as ever with work and school. I will however try to go into detail on just how boring work and school are. Cody finished up the spring semester strong with a...4.0 GPA!! I am really proud of him. He worked really hard all semester for that. He has now already started summer school and is currently enrolled in the Kaplan Course for the months of May and June. The Kaplan course will prepare him to take the DAT which is this test all applicants must take to apply to dental school. Cody is scheduled to take the DAT on July 1st. This means from now until then he will be studying like mad. This also means summer doesn't really start for us until July 2. Cody actually begins the application process for dental school on May 15. So all that ridiculous paperwork process begins. After the DAT we wait...and pray.....and wait longer.....and pray harder....and wait some more....until he hopefully gets accepted to a dental school somewhere. It is a long grueling processing and we are only at the beginning of it. Cody plans to apply to about 15 different schools. All I can hope for is that he gets accepted somewhere were it is WARM, so Southern California would be great, Arizona, or Las Vegas. But if we get accepted somewhere cold...we will thank our lucky starts pack our parkas and get the hell outta here! Cody should graduate from what will be Utah Valley University next spring with his Bachelor's in Business!

As for me, I continue to work, and go insane at the same time. The past 2 months have honestly been probably the hardest 2 I have ever endured at my job. I have given myself a new motto to live by for the time being and that is: One More Day. (It is also the password to get into my work computer...but with all the symbols, capitalization, and numbers, you would never be able to figure it out). Every morning I type this and I have to tell myself I can make it one more day. This is the reason for my lack of blogging.

So in the few hours I have after work and before bed which is usually about 1-1/2 to 2 hours, Cody and I enjoy eating tuna helper (I know it sounds gross but the only good kind is Creamy Broccoli, it's amazing), watching the new episodes of "House", and playing Grand Theft Auto together.

You are alive! So good to see you are still blogging. So when life ceases to be insane, let's do dinner. Got it? That's an order! I need Rachelle time! I NEED IT!

Good luck! You know, he could always sign his life over to the Navy and let them pay for Dental school.....hmmm. Yeah, maybe not. Signing your life over isn't always such a walk in the park
