Happy Valentines Day To Me

That is right, these are the flowers that my wonderful husband surprised me with today. I will admit that this is only the 2nd time in my entire life that I have been given flowers. I really didn't expect anything, and as I was at work I checked out bank account and happened to notice that Cody had spent some money at Costco. I entertained the idea in my mind that he might have gotten me a Valentines gift. But after thinking things through I had convinced myself that he had not gotten me a gift and that had instead stopped on his way home from school to put gas in his truck. When I walked in the door from work they there they were on the table!! I should trust my first instincts more often it looks like. I was also thrilled to notice that he had taken the trash out as well!

For dinner tonight Cody and I went out on a limb and tried a new Chinese place called Chinatown. We decided upon that one because Cody had looked through the phonebook restaraunt menus and found that this place had tiny spicy chicken. His favorite. So we had to go, and we also new it was likely going to be a less popular place with the entire valley trying to go out to dinner tonight. All in all it was good and we didn't have to wait at all to get in. This was the best Valentines day that I can ever remember!
