My 1st documentary

I have decided to take up my first big task of the summer, I'm making a documentary of what has become quite the tradition for Rachelle and I.

Rachelle is wondering what the hell I'm doing at this point taking her picture at the drive through. I must throw out a disclaimer that as you can see this trip took us to Iceberg, whereas normally we make our way to the Purple Turtle in Lindon. More of this disclaimer will be expounded on later in this documentary.

I had to explain what I was doing to Rachelle, still confused she went ahead and ordered anyway. I know there isn't any audio but if there were this is what you would here: Rachelle "can I get a hot fudge brownie cookie dough milkshake?" Lady at the drive through "is that all" Rachelle "Can we get that in the biggest size possible please?" Lady at the drive through "so you want a large?" Rachelle "Is that the biggest one I can get?" Lady at the drive through "Yes" Rachelle "Large it is!!" Lady at the drive through "is that everything" Rachelle "can you make sure it gets mixed up really well" Lady at the drive through "your total is $4.90 see you at the window" As you can see we are very picky when it comes to our ice cream. We like lots of mix ins and we like lots and lots of ice cream. We also hate it when the milkshake isn't mixed into a homogenous mixture. If it isn't mixed correctly it is basically ruined which then ruins the rest of our night.

This next picture is just Rachelle as we are waiting in line at the drive through. Normally we have to wait because this little secret of ours isn't much of a secret and there are many other people throughout the valley that also enjoy various kinds of milkshakes, though none as good as our hot fudge brownie cookie dough milkshake.

This is continuing our wait in the drive through (please ignore the license plate number and make no attempts to steal the identities of those nice ice cream loving individuals in front of us)

Finally we make it to the drive up window, Rachelle begins going hysterical because I'm taking her picture while the people inside can see us. These next few picture just tell the whole story about how Rachelle was laughing so hard she could barely sign her name to the credit card receipt.

After all the laughing and wondering if this transaction was actually going to make it all the way through, we ended up getting what we went there for and you will see the gleeful joys of approval of me and my wife.

Now comes the time to explain the disclaimer as mentioned above. As you can easily see in the two pictures above that both Rachelle and I are smiling as big as we can. We are so excited that we have our milkshake and that we can sit down and enjoy it. Had we had any of this particular milkshake these pictures would not be "happy" but would instead be those of two upset customers. You see, when we go to the Purple Turtle, the brownies taste like they have just recently been pulled straight out of the oven. They are soft, chewy and ohhh so chocolatie and the cookie dough is just the right size in each and every bite, not to much and not to little. Our little trip to Iceberg was only met with much disappointment for a few key reasons. First of all we ordered hot fudge, there was no hot fudge in our milkshake, instead there was chocolate ice cream, I can't even begin to describe the disappointment because of this. Second, I couldn't even tell there were brownies in this milkshake because I think they had been put through a blender before being added in. The portions were so small and minute they might as well had not even added them. Third, the cookie dough was grisly and tasted like to much flour had been added. If only we had made that little bit of an extra drive to the Purple Turtle all of this could have been avoided!!! To end my documentary I leave with what I think is a funny picture of my wife because it truly shows how impatient we are when it comes to eating ice cream!!!

We truly can't wait 5 seconds before we begin chowing down on heavenly treat!!!

Cody,
Congratulations on graduation, Well done. I miss the two of you and hope that you are doing well. I love the Purple Turtle and I love Milk Shakes! Remember the Grantsville Milk Shake experience? If we can both find time we should go to dinner before you guys leave.
