Me Domestic?

Some of you may not know that I love to cook (when I have the time). I just thought I would share with everyone my amazing homemade pizza. The secret to good pizza is good crust. After a few trial and errors I finally found a really good crust. I blend the ingredients in my kitchen aid and it works fantastic. So if you don't have one...I would hope it turns out just as good.

1 C Warm water
add a packet of yeast, or the equivalent which is 2 1/4 teaspoons.

let the yeast dissolve

Add 2 1/2 C Flour

1 t. Salt

2 T Sugar

2 T Oil

Mix until you have a workable dough, you can add more flour if needed but not much. Then knead your dough for a few minutes and let rise 20 minutes.

Roll your dough out so that it will fit on a cookie sheet, and top as desired. Bake at 375 degrees for 15-20 minutes. It is delicious! And here is picture to prove it.

Um... if you updated your blog just for me... and it was a pizza blog... what are you saying? :) Anyway, I appreciate the thought and I can't wait to try it out! (What kind of yeast, rapid rise or the slow mo stuff?)

Hi! I tried it. I used 1 cup of fresh whole wheat flour (I don't usually torture my pizza crust with wheat) but surprisingly it was very good. I did a variation of the pizza on pioneer woman cooks (fun recipe website). It's a pesto-tomato pizza. It was awesome. Thanks for the dough recipe!
